Rich has been a long-time FileMaker author, developer and trainer. He has written the best selling book Special Edition: Using FileMaker Pro from Que Publishing and has been the recipient of two FileMaker Excellence Awards. He has been a featured speaker at many industry trade shows over the years, including the FileMaker Developer Conference, MacWorld Expo and Seybold Seminars. Rich is the reason the rest of the management team joined The Support Group.

Eric is a veteran consultant, trainer and team leader. Since 1989 he has been creating FileMaker solutions for companies such as Amgen, Apple, Cisco, Levi Strauss, LSI Logic, Mitsui, Schlumberger, Stanford Medical Center, and UC Irvine Medical Center, in addition to many small and mid-sized companies. Eric has held both technical and sales positions at FileMaker Inc., and senior level management positions at other high-tech Silicon Valley firms.

Robert has over 25 years of hands-on IT operations, infrastructure and workflow automation experience from the desktop to the global datacenter working for Fortune 100 multi-nationals to mid-size businesses in the healthcare, printing/publishing and financial sectors. He brings a wealth of technical and business experience having used FileMaker to solve business challenges and process reengineering serving up to 1,000 users in FileMaker applications he developed and supported throughout this career. In his spare time he enjoys woodworking and video editing and production. He is active in his local Elk's Lodge as their Secretary and Past Exalted Ruler and in the Boy Scouting program where he serves on the Troop, Council and fraternal OA levels.

Karen Yetra — Operations Manager

Karen joined The Support Group in 2002, and brings a laser-sharp focus to running our business operations (both in our Natick headquarters and our other office locations). Prior to having a family, she worked in the Boston broadcast industry and owned a travel consultancy. During her “at home” career, Karen led many volunteer organizations in her hometown, including its educational foundation. A graduate of the University of Connecticut (Go Huskies!), she lives in Medfield, Mass. with her husband and their Tibetan Terrier, Tessie.

Cathy Harper — Development Manager

Cathy has been with The Support Group for over 7 years, starting on the accounting side of our business and now managing a top-notch group of FileMaker developers. Her prior experience in the software industry was with McCormack and Dodge, Dun and Bradstreet Software and The Dodge Group as a business analyst, trainer and consultant. She enjoys spending time with family, walking her yellow labs and experimenting with new paleo recipes.
