Technical Project Lead

The Support Group has an immediate need for an experienced FileMaker professional to lead an assignment that is the largest in our company’s history – one which will span many, many years.

You must know FileMaker at an advanced level and have experience with FileMaker Go. Understanding synchronization techniques, PHP, and working and integrating with large-scale systems is also highly desirable. Above all, you must have a proven track record of success in project management and leadership of a distributed group of experienced developers.

Job Description

The primary responsibilities of the position will be managing simultaneous projects of various budget sizes, gathering and assessing requirements, architecting solutions, assigning and estimating project tasks and managing the efforts and deliverables of a diverse group of developers.

Our Ideal Candidate

As a qualified candidate, you are a certified FileMaker professional with experience leading a team of developers. Experience in Agile development methodologies, as well as PMP certification, are highly desirable. Other skills required include:

Experience specifying, estimating, designing, implementing and deploying FileMaker database solutions using FileMaker Pro and FileMaker Server, preferably in version 13 or higher. Web and/or SQL experience is a definite plus!

Ability to analyze business requirements, develop functional specifications, design entity relationship diagrams, analyze use cases and understand user interaction design.

Experience with web technologies including PHP, CSS, and Javascript. Basic knowledge of network infrastructure including routers and firewalls.

Experience with FileMaker Pro, FileMaker Server on both Macintosh and Windows platforms.

Must be organized, articulate, detail-oriented and comfortable working and contributing within a team structure. Excellent communication and “people” skills and a positive attitude is a must.
